Meet Our Team

In 1987, Silvana began working in her father’s barbershop, which was established in 1967. Silvana also attended London School of Hairdressing to get her hairdressing certificate. She traveled abroad and attended Vidal Sasoon Academy in England. Silvana took over her father’s barbershop before his passing in 1991 and has kept his shop and legacy alive since then.

Silvana’s passion and extensive experience in the barbering world has allowed her to be a part of many influential programs and events within the barbering community and continues to do so as she grows as a barber & instructor.

In 2011, Gerardo walked into Lynn Valley Barbershop hoping to get apprenticeship hours for his training program. He was young, curious, and eager to learn the hair business. 15 years later he finds himself co-owner of the shop with a loyal clientele following.

With over 20 years of experience, he specializes in fades and scissor cuts and is always up for a new style challenge. What makes Gerardo’s haircut unique is his approach to personalized customer service. He spends the time to get to know each client to build trust and they always leave knowing that they received the best-customized hairstyle.

Emily was an excellent student at London School where she completed her hairdressing diploma. She is a very multi talented stylist and can do styles from classic cuts, to fades, to short hairstyles.

With 16 years of experience and a Beautysafe certification, she is a friendly barber who listens to what her clients want.

Mo is a certified Barber. In his youth Mo, worked in a barbershop helping and watching the barbers in the shop. That is where he found his interest in the trade. He completed the old school barbering course at London School in Vancouver. He was a quick learner and has a passion for shaving and beard trimming.

Carlos is the newest addition to our shop. Born in Mexico, Carlos moved to Texas before settling down in Vancouver. In 2012, he completed the Hair Dressing program at John Casablanca, and in 2015 furthered his studies by taking the Barbering course at the London School of Barbering. For the past seven years, Carols has been working at a Barbershop in downtown Vancouver where he has continuously developed his hair cutting techniques and scissor skills. Carols have spent his entire career working in the customer service industry where he loves interacting with people. He is energized by the environment where he gets to communicate with people from around the world and learn something new every day. Carlos’s goal is to provide excellent service the next time you want your hair cut.
